Metlab Facility

Castrite announce the completion of their Metlab facility.

Castrite have just commissioned their new Metlab facility a purpose built air conditioned test laboratory which houses an array of inspection and testing equipment including;

  • Spectrographic analysis of iron
  • Spectrographic analysis of copper and aluminum base metals using Sprectomax X
  • Impact testing of metals
  • Hardness testing
  • Ultrasonic inspection
  • Microscopic examination of metal structures using newly commissioned Olympus microscope.

Dimensional inspection of parts using Faro 7 axis Laser scan arm, on our 2400 x 1200 hardened and surface ground inspection table.
